Chi Flash?

“It’s going to be fit with me first.  I’ve made that very clear.  Do I want to leave?  Nope.  Mmm-hmm.  I want to be in Miami.  That’s where it starts.  I don’t do recruiting.  Not now, anyway.  I don’t look at it as recruiting.  I’ll gauge and see if guys want to be (in Miami), who wants to be with me.  It’s about who can come to Miami, it’s about who do you trust, who can fit the organization, who best fits you as a player, things of that nature.”

“My friends are the guys that are in the league.  Some of my closest friends in the NBA happen to be certain guys that are up in this free-agent market.  Yeah, it’s going to be like that.  Like I said, I don’t worry about it.  I smile and I keep on going with my day.”

“Me and Chris have been friends since we came into the NBA.  We signed with the same agent.  So we can’t eat together?  It’s all good.  We understand what’s going to come about from anything that goes on.  But, no worries, it’s just friends eating dinner.”

“I have no idea (about LeBron James). I don’t know about anyone else.  (James is) his own man. He’s going to decide for himself.  Everyone has their thoughts of what’s going to happen.  No one knows.  I don’t even think LeBron knows.”  This all from the Sun-Sentinel’s talk with Dwyane Wade.

What do I make of all of this?  What I have been saying for years.  There is no way the Flash is leaving.  For all of the Chicago fans crying right now, don’t cry, dry your eye.  Next time Wade comes for a visit you can have him autograph this terrific Slam cover for you.

So if Wade isn’t leaving whats his real plan?  He says he is just looking to see who is the best player he can have come in and fit.  The only real question is can he can get two max level players to come join him?  The Heat’s master plan is to resign Wade, then sign Lebron James and Amar’e Stoudemire or Chris Bosh.  If it happens don’t be suprised to see Pat Riley not only return to coach the team but to trademark 5Peat or even 6Peat.

Editors Note:

The Miami Heat would have to trade Michael Beasley and have to give one or two of the additional max level players a tad bit less than the max.  But it is very possible.
