OJ Mayo was offered for Monta Ellis

The Golden State Warriors were offered Mayo and Hasheem Thabeet for Ellis.  And the Warriors turned it down?  Why, so the Warriors could get 2 to 3 mediocre players in a few months instead?  Mayo is a 6’4, 210, sharp shooting, shooting guard who

Lebron VII (University of Kentucky Colorway)

So Kentucky gets a Lebron VII Colorway and even a Lebron VII lowtop Colorway?  I guess that is what having this summers number one NBA draft pick, John Wall, gets you.  Both are some really nice shoes.  Love all the detailing, I mean patent blue, now that is really something.  Never thought, looking all black […]

Lebron VII Low (University of Kentucky Colorway)

Interesting how so many big name schools have switched from Nike and Jordan Brand to Adidas.  But Kentucky keep it Nike.  And they got one of the best looking college shoes I have ever seen.  Just look at this awesome color combination and on a low top of the Lebron VII at that. Nate Dogg to the Celtics

The Boston Celtics want to win their 2nd NBA Championship in 3 seasons so they traded for Nate.  I sure hope they don’t think they can just give the ball to Nate to go one on one against Dwight Howard in the playoffs.  Nate will help but he isn’t a backup point guard which is […]

Milwaukee, Playoffs, Wow

Keep dancing in the streets, Milwaukee, the trade for John Salmons is official.  Instead of trading away Kurt Thomas and Francisco Elson they are trading away Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander.  They were expiring contracts for players the Bucks had no interest in keeping, so not bad at all. Charlotte gets Tyrus Thomas for Peanuts

The Charlotte Bobcats got Tyrus Thomas for Flip Murray, Acie Law and a protected 1st round draft pick.  Wow, actual peanuts would have cost more.  What’s more the Bobcats got Theo Ratliff for a 2nd round pick.  Some nice moves that will help get them into the playoffs.

T-Mac a Knickerbocker

Its offical, it’s a 3 way trade, the New York Knicks get Tracy McGrady and Sergio Rodriguez.  They have to give up Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries to the Houston Rockets plus the right to swap first-round picks for 2011 and the choice to get New York’s 2012 first-round pick.  They also are giving Larry Hughes to the Sacramento Kings. Houston, we have Kevin Martin

The Kings have finally traded Martin along with Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong and Sergio Rodriguez and all they got in return was Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry, Joey Dorsey and cash.  There is talk of this turning into a 3-way trade where McGrady and Rodriguez goes to the New York Knicks.  This is all very exciting stuff.

Milwaukee welcome to the Playoffs

There are dancing in the streets of Milwaukee now that John Salmons is coming to town.  He was just traded for Kurt Thomas and Francisco Elson.  I am sure his 12.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.27 steals with 42% shooting and 38% from downtown can’t hurt.  I am really happy for rookie of the year candidate […]
